Lucy Lui is a very well known asian actress, best known for her roles in movies like Kill Bill and Charlie’s Angels. She got her start on an episode of 90210, and made plenty of appearances over the next few years as “the asian girl” on TV shows like ER, LA Law, Nash Bridges, and NYPD Blue. Her breakout role was that of Ling Woo on Ally McBeal, where her smouldering and predatory sensuality implented her on the American public’s mind. Bai Ling ( in chinese 白靈 ) is one of those rare asian girls that has made a name for herself around the world, even though she is often considered a B-movie babe rather than a true A-lister. Being a Putaface isn’t reserved just for adults these days. Many of the younger stars, especially the girls coming out of the Disney camp, have learned how to seduce the camera with a single look. High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens learned how to do it, and Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, has done the same.

Overall, this girl is a true putaface and will likely turn up the heat even more when she turns 18.

Okay, this one might catch you a little off guard, it sort of surprised me.  Emma Watson, aka Hermione from the Harry Potter movies has turned 18, and surprise, she is the new “face” for Chanel, replacing Keira Knightly after a six month test run of appearances and such at events done up in Chanel’s best.

I hate to say it though, honestly, this picture shows her wearing way too much makeup and hiding her delicate curves.  Hopefully the house of Chanel will find her something nicer to wear and a makeup person with a little more restraint.  She’s 18, not 81!

Kim Kardashian is one of those professional putafaces that just never seems to go away.  This girls only two true claims to fame are her late father (OJ Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian) and her apparent willingness to get naked and get naughty in a very raunchy home movie with then boyfriend Ray J.   Porn movie company Vivid Entertainment got the rights to the tape and you can see the outrageously curvy Kim in all her glory and in full action.   Otherwise, this professional putaface is mostly what would be called a socialite, someone who shows up for all the right movie premieres, at all the right nightclubs, and dating well known men.   So good was her putafacing that her family ended up in a short lived reality show called “Keeping up with the Kardashians” which didn’t seem to last.    However, no matter how things work out for her, Kim Kardashian has certainly learned how to seduce the camera in a big way, she is a true putaface!

Katie Holmes these days is pretty much best known as Mrs Tom Cruise. However, many people will remember her from her run in the TV show Dawson Creek, which gave the then 20 year old actress the type of wide exposure that most actresses dream of. She also made a number of movies during that period, including the movie Disturbing Behavior that really broke her out and turned her into the darling of the MTV generation. Lindsay Lohan‘s troubles have been the fodder for so many great celeb stories the last little while, from her repeated drunk driving charges to her wild nights out followed by a longer term stay in rehab, this generally hotty 21 year old celeb has made for some seriously bad mugshot pics.  At least in this one her eyes are clear and her pupils a normal size… way to go Lindsay!  She was checking in to serve her one day in jail for drunk driving (Story here)

Putaface is originally a term used for mostly latina women.  The word Puta means “whore”, which is a nasty sort of word.  But a Putaface isn’t so much the face of a whore, but rather the face of seduction and longing.
